So Sunday was was supposed to be a day of rest...which somehow turned into clearing the boat ramp! Our very quarantined crew of volunteers headed to the lake to hang out and collect a little drift wood for the campfire BBQ. The wood collecting project escalated into a full scale clearing of the boat ramp which had been completely blocked with drift wood (and by drift wood I mean entire trees) deposited by flash floods and high water. The troupe lifted and carried and winched it out. Chain saws were put to good use. As of today we have easy access to launch Frank's boat, just in time for the 90 degree weather ahead. Now we are heading for an evening BBQ at the lake view house. I cannot wait for others to join in!
