A couple of weeks ago I started a garden because who knows how long until everything gets back to normal! I figure it will still be a month or so until I have to halt the work on the Sanctuary and head back to my regular job, which is driving a truck and hauling equipment for the tv/film industry.
The rattlesnake pole beans are really growing! So are the rest of the beans. All of the seeds have sprouted except for the green onions and carrots, which can be slow. Only four of my broccoli rabe have come up, but even one of those plants would be enough. I am also trying to grow some avocado trees. I am starting some in water and I also planted a few directly in the soil.
